The fourth generation Range Rover

The fourth generation Range Rover was at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and looked fabulous. We have been lucky enough to deal in a few so far and they are a massive improvement on the last model. Its 420kg lighter, stronger and more refined in the cabin.

The massive weight decrease is due to its new all-aluminium monocoque body structure which should help boost fuel economy, increase performance and improve cornering.

John Edwards, global brand director at Land Rover, said: The new Range Rover preserves the essential, unique character of the vehicle, that special blend of luxury, performance and unmatched all-terrain capability.

It is great news for the British Economy that the Range Rover will be built at their UK facility. Last year it was announced that 24 hour production capacity and an increase of 1,000 new jobs to meet demand would go ahead. The export potential for the new Range Rover is huge. China, India and Russia are expected to receive huge orders in 2013.

The already fantastic air suspension has been redesigned to work with the aluminium chassis and a new version of Land Rover???s Terrain Response system has been added. The Terrain Response 2 Auto examines the conditions and automatically chooses the most appropriate vehicle settings for the environment.

We currently have a 2013 Vogue SE with the fantastic 4.4 V8 engine. This one owner car has only covered 700 miles and comes with a host of extras, view it here
