The Mercedes-Benz SL has long been regarded as one of the most desirable classic grand tourers, with the iconic 'Pagoda' models among the most sought-after examples. This exceptional example was sold new in the United States of America to Mr David Kennedy, who enjoyed ownership of the car for some thirty-six years before it was sold and imported to the UK in 2005. Following its arrival, the car underwent a comprehensive nut-and-bolt restoration by Mercedes-Benz Pagoda specialists Silchester Garage.

The result is a beautifully presented example, finished in Black with a Cream leather interior. The car is accompanied by extensive documentation, including photographs of the restoration, within a comprehensive history file. Having covered just over 600 miles since completion, it retains its original hardtop, soft top, jack and spare wheel, along with a reproduction owner's manual.
