Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake

Back to Aston Martin

Aston Martin’s most recent collaboration with Zagato was first seen at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in 2016. Built on the Vanquish platform, this two-door coupé boasted a variety of typically Zagato design cues, yet was instantly recognizable as an Aston Martin, albeit one with a bit more Italian flair! Shortly following the coupé, other body styles were introduced, including a Volante, Roadster and arguably the most compelling, a Shooting Brake.

The Zagato’s body is made from carbon fibre, which both saves some weight and makes the Shooting Brake’s small production run viable. The whole car looks sensational, but one design highlight is the central tapering glass roof panel that runs the length of the car. Glazed in special photochromic glass it can darken its tint at the press of a button, reducing glare and adding definition to the sky above like viewing the world through a pair of sunglasses.

The car we have on offer is number 97 of 99 produced and is presented in Hyper red with pure black leather interior and contrast red stitching. As with all of the special edition Zagato`s each car is specified to the owners wishes, this particular car is equipped with a carbon fibre roof panel and side panel, a One77 full leather steering wheel, embroidered ‘Z’ logo on the headrests, full ‘Z’ quilted seats, full length satin chopped facia, black side window finisher, indoor car cover and a battery conditioner.

Truly stunning to behold and arguably one of the most compelling Aston Martins built thus far into the 21st century, the Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake is a fabulous automobile in all regards. This virtually as-new example would be an exciting addition to any collection of modern supercars or Aston Martins.
