Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II Drophead Coupe by H.J. Mulliner

Back to Rolls Royce

The Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II was equipped with a newly developed V8 engine which was constructed mainly in aluminium, featuring hydraulic tappets capable of producing nearly 25% more power than the outgoing motor it replaced.

The car we have on offer today was original sold in New York via official distributer JS Inskip to American TV royalty William S. Todson Snr. This is 1 of 75 original LHD adaptations by Mulliner - not to be confused with the more recently converted types. Finished in Ivory with blue leather and a blue electric hood, with rear veneered picnic tables, electric windows, a split front seat, plain sundym glass and an electric aerial. The car stayed in Todson family ownership until 2015, William Todson Jnr inherited the car from his father after his passing in 1978, when the car was imported into the UK. Copies of the original build sheet and its original guarantee and handbooks accompany the car.

This is a truly stunning example and is highly usable for any concourse event, a great opportunity to obtain a stunning and highly exclusive car
