We are delighted to offer this stunning 1958 Mercedes 190 SL which is superbly finished in Silver with Red Leather. This example comes complete with a hard and soft top. This model was first launched at the 1954 New York Auto Show the year before the 300SLR dominated the Mille Miglia. It was conceived as a more affordable yet equally stylish alternative to the 300 SL. The 190 SL boasted an all-new engine with an overhead camshaft inline four-cylinder engine, four-speed manual transmission, and four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes. This car had a body-off restoration in 2007 by a Mercedes Specialist Garage which was formerly Lovegrove Garage established in 1903 and it has only covered 967 miles since then. The work was done to a high standard and further equipped with a Becker Mexico Radio, Sat Nav & Bluetooth system. Many publications have singled this model out as a car to watch with tremendous growth potential including Ruoteclassiche, not least because of the remarkable success of the 300 SL. This is a great opportunity to acquire a wonderful Right Hand Drive example with a comprehensive history file.
